Capitel 27: Bainlieue de Mons

Several lines radiating from Mons were created in the years from 1887 on. All of thema were electrified. In the beginning lines went through the inner city of Mons. Later the lines went over the boulevards going around the city center. When electrified, the electric trams coming from the east (Obourg, St.Symphorien, Havré) went via the Grand Place in the center.
Depot was in Mons-Bassin, west of Mons at the line to Ghlin and Baudour.
