Capitel 35: Quiévrain - Roisin et a la Frontière

Trackwidth: 1000 mm

This capital has two sections. One was the connection to the French border, in exploitation by the French tramways of the region of Valenciennes (CEN: Cie Genérale des Chemins de Fer Economiques du Nord). This part was electrified in ?. The other part was the connection of Quiévrain to Roisin, a rural tramline, run with steam traction and later autorails. The depot for this part was in Roisin. In 1950 in Baisieux there was made a connection to the network of the Borinage (cap.186), and then the section between Baisieux and Quévrain was elektrified. This did not last long, as in 1966 the line was closed.

Depot was in Roisin.
