The line formed a connection of the lines of the Centre (region La Louviere) and the lines of Brabant. Plans to electrify the part of Casteau and Le Roeulx have existed but never carried out. In that case a connection in Le Roeulx of this line with the line from La Louvière (cap.43) should be made. This connection of less than a kilometer never has been made.
