Because the locs of the series 450 and 600 were getting too old, the CFL ordered in 1970 four small diesellocs at Jung in Germany. In 1973 they were opearional with the CFL.
These locs are used for several light services like rail-building and shunting in Ettelbruck and in Luxemburg.
