Rolling stock

Since about the year 1953 the CFL is using a numbering system for their rolling stock, based on the power of the loc. Between 1953 and 1963 several series were achieved, thereby making it possible to abandon all steam locs (in 1964 the last steam shunting loc was abandoned).

• The e-locs were thus numbered in the series 3600, the diesellocs were numbered from 451 to 1801, depending upon there power.
• Apart from this, there were several tractors numbering from 1000 on.
The passenger motor cars were numbered in the series 100 until 200. The number of a motor car was preceded by a Z, the coaches which belonged to a motor car were preceided by RZ.
