Until 1964 in Luxemburg there were a lot of different coaches, all having left out of world war II, many from foreign countries. In 1964 The CFL decided to build new coaches.
In 1964 the CFL ordered 25 2nd-class coaches. They resembled the German coaches of type Bnb 719. Wegmann delivered these coaches, of which the boogies were delivered by Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz.
These 25 coaches were delivered in 1965. In 196 the CFL ordered for more coaches in order to be able to replace the last wooden coaches.
The total delivery consisted of:
In the first years these coaches were painted dark green. Later on they have been painted in a lighter greencolor combined witt a creme-yellow color.
In later years the types have changed slightly. At last there also existed ABD (first, second and luggage).
In 2003 the CFL placed an order to buy 85 new double stocked coaches. After these had been delivered (in 2004 and 2005), the Wegmann coaches were sold.
